Did you know on average it takes 20+ hours to research and plan a vacation? This time can easily double for a new or unfamiliar destination, and triple for groups. Some people love to plan trips! However, if you don't like planning your own travel, or are overwhelmed by all the options, or maybe you just don't have the time - I can help. Maybe you don't trust the information on the internet. (Are those hotel pictures current? Are these reviews real?) As a travel professional, I have resources and relationships to draw from, along with all of their and my own personal experience. When planning a trip do you often struggle with these questions:

Is the hotel/resort/cruise a place we will enjoy? Is it a reputable place? Is it in a good location?
What should we do once we get to our destination? What are activities to do there that I would enjoy?
Do I need to book the activities/excursions in advance? How long should I plan for each activity?
How will we get from the airport to the hotel/resort/cruise ship? How do I book a train?

I can help with all of the items below, or only the pieces you need help with.

The Travel Consultation Process

Once you’re ready to start planning, we’ll start out by setting up a complimentary consultation by completing the intake form found HERE. This is a time for us to chat either via phone or online zoom so I can fully understand your travel goals and preferences, and to ensure we are both a good match. This helps me customize the perfect experience for you.
If we are a good fit you'll be invoiced for my Professional Travel Services fee. This fee is determined by the amount of research, planning and ongoing care your vacation will need (the fee begins at $197). As soon as this is completed, your vacation is officially added to my calendar and I start the planning process.
Now it’s my time to get to work matching the feedback you’ve given me to the right experience and destination for you! I start the research and begin planning your vacation. I use my expertise and work with destination partners to present a customized itinerary and present various options for you to consider. We will set up a 30 minute zoom meeting to go over the options, typically within about 5-7 business days.
After you take time to review your proposal, we will make necessary adjustments based on your personal preferences and lock in your official plan! Once you are satisfied with the itinerary, you can choose to make a trip deposit to hold the reservation. This step secures your travel arrangements. I take care of the deposit, reservations, flights, and necessary paperwork making the process hassle-free for you.
Pop the bubbly! I make your trip deposit and your vacation is officially in motion! I will make all of the trip payments for you. I will be there for you step by step from now until you return. All that’s left for you to do is get the countdown started!
Between booking your trip and your travel dates approaching, you are sure to have a few extra things you’ve thought of that you’d love to have included. Rather than sending individual requests one email at a time, I will reach out to help make sure all of the little, special details are included in your experience to make your trip complete.
Two or three weeks before you leave, we will schedule a 30 minute meeting where we will discuss your travel documents, confirmations, transportation details, hotel arrangements, excursions, and other relevant trip information. I’ll send you off with hard and/or electronic copies of every document you may need. This includes your custom itinerary, reservation confirmations, and tickets. I’ll also send helpful reminders, recommendations, and travel tips unique to your destination! This ensures your are well-prepared for your trip.
When you board the plane, you will board with the full confidence that you have someone back home who has your back. My job isn’t done until you are home. During your trip I will be available for any questions or issues which might arise. Regardless of the problem, I will work to find solutions before, during and after your travel experience. This ongoing support ensures a smooth and stress-free trip. It's time for you to simply relax and enjoy your trip!

Is there a fee?

I love doing all of the research, providing multiple options, and finding the best fit. I am a professional and like all professionals I charge a fee. During our initial consultation, we will discuss the fee. I complete all aspects of planning and the ongoing care of your trip. I help with everything from the research, the planning, the reservations, and the logistics. It can include resort options, to creating an itinerary of things to do at a location, to creating a custom independent vacation through several European countries with air, hotel, rail, transfers, tours, and dinner reservations. You choose which pieces you need.
